Privacy, in plain English.

What we collect

Only what the collection needs: your name, email, an optional mobile number, the pickup address and any access notes you add, the day and window you prefer, and what you are sending us — volume, ironing, fragrance choice and anything delicate. Nothing else, and nothing you have not typed yourself.

Why, and who sees it

To quote your job, collect it and bring it back. Your request arrives as an email in Letti’s inbox and is read by her. Our website provider has technical access to the systems that carry it, as any provider does. We do not sell your details, and we do not use them for marketing.

Where it goes

The website runs on Cloudflare, and the request email is delivered through Resend, an email service. That means the contents of your request — including your address — pass through and are stored by those providers, in addition to Letti’s mailbox. We keep your street address out of the email subject line, because subjects show up on lock screens and in server logs.

That email also carries a calendar invitation, so Letti can put your pickup in her diary. If she accepts it, your name, address and phone number are also stored in her calendar, which runs on Google. Your access notes — how to reach your door — are never included in the invitation.

How long we keep it

Requests that become jobs are kept with the invoice for as long as Australian tax rules require, which is five years. Requests that never became a job are deleted once they are clearly not going anywhere. Access notes — how to get to your door — are removed once your order is back with you.

Getting a copy, or having it removed

Email [email protected] and ask. We will send you what we hold, or delete it, except anything we are required to keep for tax records. No form, no fee.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It stores a cookie in your browser with a random ID, so a second visit is not counted as a second person, and it sends that visit to Google. It does not carry your name, and we never sell it.

We also advertise on Google and on Facebook, and both carry a small piece of code on this site — Google Ads and the Meta pixel. They let us see that a booking request came from an ad we paid for, and they let those platforms show our ads to people who have visited the site. Sending a request is the only thing counted as a result, and it is counted without your name attached: the request reference travels with it so the same booking is not counted twice, and your address, your notes and what you asked us to wash are never sent to Google or to Meta.

The booking form also uses a Cloudflare security check to keep spam out, which sets its own technical cookie for that purpose alone.

If you would rather not be measured, your browser’s “block third-party cookies” setting or any tracker blocker will stop it. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.
